Students of T.E. (Electrical)  and Diploma of G.H.Raisoni Institute of Engineering & Technology, Pune visited “Lonikand sub station , Pune ”, on 15th September 2015. The visit was organized to study Electrical Installation Maintenance and Testing. Nearly seventy nine students and sixteen students of Diploma had visited the substation.  This visit to a substation is compulsory for the students according to the syllabus set by the Savitribai Phule Pune University. This visit enables the students to understand various equipment used in a substation and their functioning or use. The visit to substation includes visit to the switch yard as well as the control room.

Students of T.E. (Civil) of G.H.Raisoni Institute of Engineering & Technology, Pune visited “ Bhatghar Dam, Bhor, Pune ”, on 3rd Sep ‘2015. The visit was organized to study of catchment area & drainage systems,C/s of dam, side slopes, pitching spillway & gate and penstock & study of   hydro-power station, canal system. Student took keen interest to seek the practical and theoretical knowledge on boilers. Nearly seventy students had visited along with five faculties.   Students of B.E(Civil) of G.H.Raisoni Institute of Engineering & Technology, Pune visited “Naidu Sewage Treatment Plant, Pune”, on 4th Sep ‘2015. The visit was organized for study of Screening, Aeration unit, Clafiers, Sedimentation unit and Gas collection Chamber. Student took keen interest to seek the practical and theoretical knowledge on boilers. Nearly fifty six students had visited along with four faculties.

Early in the morning sharp at 3.43 am on 19 Jan’2013 the journey began from Kharadi by Pass. Finally all the students boarded the bus from different bus stops as per Ankit’s instruction. Ankit Kalantri, one amongst them, he is of the same age group like other T.E Computer students but he has all the skills of a manager. I had noticed that if a student carries whole responsibility then automatically he is able to do so due to his team mates. He had also formed a team. I am not much aware of their names but they were quite attentive to check whether the students were picked up from their respective pick up points. They all were in good mood and hence had fun throughout the drive towards Essel world. Ajinkya performed excellent comedy sessions. Ravi had sung melodious songs. Viral had danced in bollywood style.
