Industrial visit of Civil Engg. Students of G.H.R.I.E.T, Pune

Students of T.E. (Civil) of G.H.Raisoni Institute of Engineering & Technology, Pune visited “Bhatghar Dam, Bhor, Pune”, on 3rd Sep ‘2015. The visit was organized to study of catchment area & drainage systems,C/s of dam, side slopes, pitching spillway & gate and penstock & study of   hydro-power station, canal system. Student took keen interest to seek the practical and theoretical knowledge on boilers. Nearly seventy students had visited along with five faculties.  Students of B.E(Civil) of G.H.Raisoni Institute of Engineering & Technology, Pune visited “Naidu Sewage Treatment Plant, Pune”, on 4th Sep ‘2015. The visit was organized for study of Screening, Aeration unit, Clafiers, Sedimentation unit and Gas collection Chamber. Student took keen interest to seek the practical and theoretical knowledge on boilers. Nearly fifty six students had visited along with four faculties.
