Industrial visit of Electrical Engg. Students of G.H.R.I.E.T, Pune

Students of T.E. (Electrical)  and Diploma of G.H.Raisoni Institute of Engineering & Technology, Pune visited “Lonikand sub station, Pune”, on 15th September 2015. The visit was organized to study Electrical Installation Maintenance and Testing. Nearly seventy nine students and sixteen students of Diploma had visited the substation. 

This visit to a substation is compulsory for the students according to the syllabus set by the Savitribai Phule Pune University. This visit enables the students to understand various equipment used in a substation and their functioning or use. The visit to substation includes visit to the switch yard as well as the control room.
