DIWALI It is festival of light but because of too much of commercialization this peaceful festival has lost its significance. If you close your eyes and think about this festival then as an Indian you can view candles lit everywhere and beautiful rangoli colors designs along with favorite edibles especially varieties of sweet. In today’s world we wait for costly gifts from our near and dear ones i.e we are rather concentrating more on give and take of tangible goods. Hence this brings sadness as generally expectations are too high and no one meets the same. The innocence of enjoying the lightening of candles and edibles are lost in the tantrums and unnecessary creating melodramatic scenes. But its better late than never let us all become again the infant who smiles for no reason and enjoys every small event and responses by cooing and babbling. The feeling of a bus driver can be so intense and deeply attached to his bus was witnessed by all the travelers of Bus no. 1244. Our driver Ashok, a sincere and quite person had decorated an old bus as if a 5 star hotel or a marriage hall is decorated for an auspicious ceremony. A day prior a meager amount of 30 rupees was contributed by the staff members and may be by students. But the whole bus was decorated with tinsels, draped with different colors of netted cloth and at the back multicolor strips were hung as if Goddess “Durga” will board the bus. All the buses were decorated but the winning strategy of Ashok was his extra ordinary initiative that he decorated 1244 internally as well as externally. All of us saluted his spirit of Dussera celebration the campus and clapped as well as cheered him up. Now a day’s every second individual is egotist. A braggart and self centered. In this case if we are working in a team then dealing with team members, team leader, immediate bosses like Manager, senior manager is a herculean task. But as for every disease there is a medicine similarly for these difficult personalities again there are many solutions. First step is ignoring them. As if we pay attention then we are fulfilling their desire of ruling people. Second step is focusing inward. We cannot change the world hence we should completely focus on our response. Simplicity is actually very complicated thing to adapt. In today’s world where we all are flaunting, it is inconceivable to become simple. We never miss a chance to boast about ourselves and neither have we thought before speaking and hence we become plethoric person. This action slowly becomes a habit and then it reaps a character. A simple person always content and if every individual thinks in the same manner then there will be no scope of greed. Environment will not be polluted as need can be catered but greed in unlimited and due this greedy behavior human race brutally affects the Mother Nature.
