GHRIET, Pune has organized “BHUMI Daan Utsav”
GHRIET Pune has organized “Bhumi Daan Utsav” from on 03rd October to 08th October 2016 at GHRIET, Wagholi. The GHRIET students believe in the quote, “There are two ‘i’s’ in Fundraising – they should stand for inspiration and innovation, not imitation and irritation,” as quoted by Ken Burnett. On 2 nd October, the students have carried out the Swachh Bharat – The cleanup / tree plantation activity inside the college campus. On 5 th October, the volunteer students and faculties have taken blood donation pledge online & via SMS, because this will lead to cure a patient and save blood wastage as the amount of blood donated at a time is generally not utilized by the blood bank, but a pledgee can donate blood in the nearby hospital whenever all of sudden the requirement arises. The Seva Sandwich activity is carried on 8 th October, the beneficiaries are the Angels of Snehalaya Institute.
