Republic Day’2013


I am proud to be an Indian but then there is a hitch which actually stops me from celebrating the ceremony. Nirbhaya’s case is unresolved, Justice Verma’s suggestion are futile as because the norms suggested is very liberal for the rape criminals and seems more like an insult for common people who had fought for justice and pleaded for a safe society for girl child.
If democracy is By the people, to the people for the people. Where the consent of people is missing then how we can call India as Democratic and republic country. It is not at all a republic as it is”MONARCH OF POLITICIANS”. Republic means a political system in which the supreme power lies in a body of citizens who can elect people to represent them. But actually it is the political party worker’s illegal votes are electing politicians.
One thing triggers in our mind is that whether the time has come that to take revenge rather than to follow Law and order which actually is protecting criminals as they easily exploit the loop holes of rules and regulations. Now the time has come which says an eye for an eye. The taxes levied on common man are too high and poor people actually cannot sustain in it. Poverty is the mother of crime. Furthermore this will shape up into a barbaric society. Then what is the point of education and law & order .
Indian citizens are duly paying all kinds of taxes but the taxes are not utilised for the betterment of the society and helping the people who are below poverty line. However the amount is used by the politicians for their own interest. If their monthly remuneration is not more than 1 lakh then how they have a bank balance of 300 crores or so. Obvious it is the hard earned money of common people. Bureaucrats are not united and hence they are only writing speeches for illiterate politicians for flattery. Administrative officers are for common people’s well being and they tend to forget the oath, which they pledge when they are provided the position.


I would like to wish all of you “Happy Republic Day”…. May the word People should always hold a meaning in it… We the people of India…..
